This is their first litter together and we are so pleased with the puppies. We were gifted with chocolates, one black, one chocolate and tan and one black and white parti.
Our Groomer and Trainer, Lesley, commented on how quiet these puppies are – a sure sign of happy puppies…which demonstrates our handling, our loving and our introduction to our expectations and boundaries.
These puppies have been pre and post bile acid tested and vetted. They have received their three sets of core vaccinations; been micro chipped; de-wormed and de-flead.
There is one puppy left – we call him Hugo. He will mature to be in the range of 16-18 lbs. He is athletic, just like his Grand Father, Wolfgang. If you want a partner to jog or hike with, he’s your pup-pup. Hugo would also be great in agility classes/shows.
Now a bit about us…
Island Miniature Schnauzers hold a valid and current breeding and boarding license. Our 12 acre property has been rezoned to allow us to love, train, breed and board Miniature Schnauzers. We breed for temperament and health – their stunning colours are a gift.
Prior to going home with you, our puppies will have received their pre and post bile acids test; their first two sets of vaccinations; been micro chipped and de-wormed; been trained in our “0 Tolerance Alpha Training Technique” and will have been trained to go outside for potty, to be quiet in their play pen and carrier, to be well socialized with people and other dogs.
Each litter is trained off-site with one of our Trainers for 4 days in a “group environment”.
We also offer Home Life Training where you puppy goes off-site to one of our Trainer’s home for seven days. Your puppy will learn how to ask to go outside for potty; walk on the leash; ride in the car; be polite to other doggies and people and generally just experiencing life in a respectful and calm manner.
We are proud to announce that we are offering training with emphasis on the “Cesar Touch” throughout the winter months. Please click on the “Training Tab” to learn more about this training. Our Owner, Beverley Boyce, has completed level I and II with the world- famous Dog Trainer, Cesar Millan, down at his Dog Psychology Centre, CA, USA.
